Yesterday I saw some beautiful fish, and it made me realize my life problems aren't that big

The beauty of nature can help us pause for a moment and look at our problems from a new perspective, relieving some of the artificial, built-up stress we give ourselves.

When I am awestruck by the beauty of nature, I often realize the insignificance of my problems.

I saw a brightly colored yellow fish yesterday.

This bad boy

When I saw him, I temporarily forgot my visa issues, work issues, financial issues, relationship issues, personal issues, etc.

Weird way to have a realization - from a fish - but, yeah.

Anyways, in short, what I want to share is by taking in the beauty of nature and the shear absurdity and incredibleness of our universe, we can forget our own problems, even if just temporarily.

Our human problems, turns out, while they are important to us, they aren't so important to the universe. The universe does not "care" if we live or die. The universe does not "care" if we forgot to do our laundry or if we received a mean comment on social media.

By keeping things in perspective, the ridiculuousness of our situation, it helps ease the burden of stress we put on ourselves.

So don't take things so seriously. Take a moment to detach your mind from the current situation and view it from a far-off angle. Perhaps then, the situation will look small and manageable and you won't be stressing in your mind so much.

Have a wonderful day, I love you.
