With the advent of AI, what is left for writers?
With the advent of AI, the new niche is the human experience - all the emotions you experience, your dreams and turmoils, interests and opinions. The new niche is you
The human experience
The only thing left is relatability and creativity. Authenticity and storytelling.
There is one thing AI cannot replace - and it is the human experience, the emotions and dreams and turmoils that we have.
We cannot relate to AI in this regard because they cannot have these experiences.
So this is the new niche for human writers.
The niche is you
You are unique and special. Yet at the same time, the problems you face and the dreams that you have are shared by others.
Write about them. Write about how you feel. Write about how you overcome them.
Other people will find value in your solutions, and they will find solace knowing that they are not alone in their struggles.
The experiences that you have are incredibly valuable.
Don't write about things that can be easily Googled or asked in ChatGPT
This is perhaps the quickest way to end your career as a writer.
You simply cannot compete on scale or quality.
And it is also doing a disservice to your own thoughts and thinking.
Your thoughts are intriguing blips in the cosmos, quickly jot them down and share them with others.
Don't write redundant "How To" guides, if they have already been done.
Do what hasn't been done. Write what hasn't been written. This is how you stand out from the crowd.
