Realize how much you've done👇
When you feel overwhelmed, take note of how much you've done already. Be proud of it.
"I felt hopeless, overwhelmed, already wanting to quit. But I realized, you know, I learned like 400 things in the last, like, 2 or 3 days. It's overwhelming. Oh my gosh, I learned so much yet I still have that expectation."
What to do when we feel despair?👇
We often don't give ourselves enough credit.
Take a pen and paper and write down everything you did today: every thought, action, conversation, accomplishment, and so on.
You probably cannot finish the list. It's too much. Especially in the turbo age that we live in today.
Our brain is amazing and can do so damn much, but it can be overwhelmed at times, overstimulated.
So just accept the fact that you did a lot today and rest. Be proud of yourself. Don't fall into the negative emotions that what you did was not enough.
What do you have to gain by experiencing these emotions?
Nothing. It'll only hurt your progress and wellbeing - so release it and focus on the good that you did. Stay in a positive mindset in this situation.
