The development of AI and its relation to Google rankings and us

Things are uncertain right now because of the rapid development of AI, but I believe Google and other search engines - ironically through the use of AI technology - will begin to be able to distinguish articles written by AI and articles written by humans.

If you think about it though, AI recognizing it's written by AI, AI recognizing itself, is a form of self-awareness... I.E. consciousness...

But look at the way I write. It's on purpose. You know you are reading the voice of a human because here I am, talking to you through my written words.

Writing is such an amazing thing.

It may become a war zone though. AI could copy the way I write and duplicate it. But I don't think it could ever become 100%, unless it becomes me, and simultaneously knows all my goals and the direction I am heading and how that will change me. So in short, very unlikely.

Write more like a human

I suppose this is my point with this article: write more like a human. It's how you bullet proof yourself and prevent yourself from getting taken over.

Everyone of us has a unique voice inside of us, and the only way AI can compete is if it splits off and copies us all individually.

What is more likely, however, is that AI will just copy the formal language that we use in news articles, technical writing, copywriting, guides, informative articles, etc.

These types of writing have a set style to them that is easy to copy.

So if you want to stand out, avoid writing like that.

Now is the time for semi-formal writing

Formal writing is taken over by AI. Informal writing hurts the IQ and is taken over by social media.

There is though a middle ground between the two which I call semi-formal writing.

Write creatively, with style, sometimes complex and always interesting, not easy to be duplicated.

It's your best hope!
