Day 5 - How to use Midjourney to generate feature images
Slight changes in your prompt can make your image entirely more interesting. Also: editor for YouTube, separate Instagram accounts, leaving college, full-time model, and do what you want.
In a way, I am doing better now than I have ever been.
I feel at peace and happy.
I feel that I will leave college and really start pursuing my dream.
I feel fun and happy and healthy again.
Still problems sleeping of course, but I feel like I am who I should be.
I have been going to the gym, recording videos of myself, memes, having fun with friends, walking around, thinking deeply about life, doing meaningful work and progressing on my goals.
I have eliminated my bad habits. I no longer waste time doing depressing things.
I haven't watched Netflix is over a month. All I watch is YouTube Alex Hormozi business videos.
I am learning more about content creation and video editing.
I don't sleep much by my energy levels are high. Of course I am sick and sometimes depressed. But things are getting so much better! I am so happy.
I still haven't posted Day 1 - Day 4. Haha. Okay I will post now. It's okay, just keep everything like an open journal here.
It's a bit tricking to get the feature images just right.
I use Midjourney to generate my images.
Perhaps I should record a video of how I do that later.
I use this prompt: "digital illustration in style of vector art, warm colors, orange, gold, or yellow", followed by whatever I am working on.
For example, I used the prompt
"digital illustration in style of vector art, warm colors, orange, gold, or yellow, exploring an abandoned concrete dystopian skyscraper or building, broken down, dripping water, plants growing inside, man exploring inside"
to generate:
But before I just used the prompt
"digital illustration in style of vector art, warm colors, orange, gold, or yellow, exploring an abandoned concrete dystopian skyscraper or building, broken down"
and only got:
So you can see adding the small detail of "dripping water, plants growing inside, man exploring inside" makes a big difference.
Another example is
"digital illustration in style of vector art, warm colors, orange, gold, or yellow, open notes, journal, open thinking, guy, other people can see"
and only got:
But if I rewrite it like this
"digital illustration in style of vector art, warm colors, orange, gold, or yellow, a strong man, philosopher, carving on a wall ancient runes"
suddenly it becomes much more interesting.
My friend hired an editor for his YouTube channel
I don't know why I didn't think too much about this.
It would be much better to delegate.
If I can create a system where people work around me to build a sustainable brand, well, things would just get better exponentially.
I should separate my Instagram accounts according to topics
My agency made a good point about creating a professional Instagram account for modeling to promote to clients.
I think I will turn my main account into this.
Jacob_pugmire - modeling, highlights
jacobp.entrepreneur - everything I am doing to better my life
thatmoderngreek - fitness
jacob.memez - random memes and funny stuff
fruitypug - my personal account, for my closest guy friends
Wow, 5 accounts!
I decided today to leave my university and take modeling full-time
It's a long topic and I won't explain it all here right now.
But I know life is short.
I am confident. I know what I want to do. And I want to do it directly.
What I am doing right now, writing this, is an example of what I want to do.
I want to build myself up, build my brand, my business, travel the world, grow as an individual, and experience all life has to offer while simultaneously accomplishing my goals.
I want to live life more directly and not beat around doing things that are of lesser consequence.
Do want you want to do, always
You know, for the most part, what kind of life you want to live. But yet you are often doing things you don't want to do because of social pressure and internal fear. Break free from these bonds now.
Seriously.
Get over it.
Stop now. And do what you are made for.
I finished day 1 - day 5 articles.
Perhaps doing this is not productive.
It is not making me money.
But I hope one day it can bring value to people.
I see now why people don't keep such a detailed journal. It is a pain and a lot of work. But I think in the years to come I will be so glad I stuck with it. Keep it up bro, you are doing amazing and I appreciate all the hard work you do.
