Being able to interview people is a powerful skill
Flirt with the world, build up your social skills, good things will come because of it.
Yesterday in the spur of the moment I interviewed and interacted with drunk people in Xinyi.
Part of it came from inspiration from a Japanese interviewer that I find hilarious. He does the same thing and interviews people on the streets in Japan, asking them weird questions and creating hilarious and awkward situations.
Because I watched his reels, it gave me the inspiration to try it myself. So it seems that sometimes watching reels or consuming this kind of content can lead to good outcomes, if you take action.
Interviewing is not as easy as it seems.
Besides the small talk, what kind of questions are you going to ask them?
How will you create the mood? How will you create the opportunity for something funny or interesting to happen?
How do you overcome your own shyness and be able to interview anyone?
These are all skills that must be practiced and built up.
Flirt with the world
There's an unbelievable super power of being able to socially interact well with anyone.
It opens up new doors and new opportunities. It could literally change the course of your life.
Think about the close friends that you hold so dear now. How did you meet? Something had to happen for you two to connect. If that event never happened, what would your life be like right now? It would be missing a lot.
Now obviously you won't connect with everyone. But you have to give yourself a chance for something good to happen. Introduce some serendipity into your life.
Don't start off hard, trying to flirt with a 10/10 of the opposite sex. Just talk to normal people that you see everyday. The lady at the cashier. The dude in the gym. Your coworker or classmate you haven't interacted much with before.
Do this over and over like you are training a muscle (because you are).
Then eventually you will be comfortable, natural, confidence, and effective in just interacting in a lighthearted nature with everyone in the world. This is the state we want to be in. This is where the opportunities will start to arise from.
So from here on and henceforth, flirt with the world. Make light but meaningful comments to those around you, see what happens.
Perhaps something great will come from it.
